Suicide Prevention in Schools

Suicide is the leading cause of death in young people aged 5–34 in the UK and for the first time the new PSHE Curriculum advises schools how to bring this conversation into the classroom.
Not all schools feel confident to approach this subject which is why One Voice One Hope is bringing together academics, clinicians, schools leaders, charities and those with lived experience to provide a FREE online event designed to support schools and educators.
Hear about the important work already being done around the country and leave feeling more confident to engage with this content from September.
This event is about honest conversations, evidence, practical tools and creating a genuine community for anyone who works in schools.
We are pleased to provide you with the current agenda and format for this launch event. As with all collaborative initiatives, certain elements of the day may be subject to change. We will continue to keep you updated via Eventbrite and email as we approach June 9th.
Zoom webinar - a link to join the online conference will be provided during the week commencing Monday June 1st.
