One Voice, One Hope (OVOH) is a Collaborative Action Network (CAN) of people and organisations who share a commitment to preventing all preventable suicides across the 4 nations of the UK.

We use the language of We ‘CAN’ in all we aspire to achieve.

Through collaboration, the network aims to facilitate clearer knowledge of existing resources, identify new ways of working together, challenge current processes and standards and establish new, collaborative standards of good practices.

OVOH is rooted in principles that matter: Respect, Humility, Trust, Compassion and Determination. And at the heart of this is a commitment to give freely — to share knowledge and support, without expectation of credit or recognition.

OVOH is not aligned with any one organisation, group of charities or other official body. OVOH is a network for everyone who wants to see a significant downturn in suicide deaths, offering a safe and supported environment to collaborate and a space where all voices are heard.

What We Do

Our impact in action

At One Voice, One Hope, we understand that actions speak louder than words. We also know that some of the most effective solutions to reducing deaths by suicide already exist - we just need to make these more accessible to more people and organisations across the UK. Why reinvent the wheel?

At the heart of this network are themed Collaborative Action Groups, places where emerging and existing practical solutions to preventing suicide are discussed and project groups formed to deliver these solutions on the ground as soon as possible. Collaborative Action Groups feed the One Voice, One Hope Good Practices Hub and the Hub can also inform the Groups’ activities.
